Springton Manor Farm Wedding Photography

Stephanie and Drew had themselves an absolutely lovely Quaker wedding at the Springton Manor Farm. If you’ve never heard of it, Springton Manor Farm is a gorgeous park and working farm. There are stunning fields, sprawling vistas and buildings that date to the Civil War era – there’s definitely a feeling of being back in time. It’s absolutely wonderful! For all of you non-Eastern Pennsylvanians out there, here’s a quick bit of background on Quaker style weddings. The couple and guests gather for silent worship. There is no officiant/pastor/priest at these ceremonies. Instead, the couple declares their intentions and addresses one another. Wedding guests are then invited to stand and say a little something about the couple. Afterward, everyone in attendance signs their marriage certificate.  Stephanie and Drew’s ceremony was simple, sweet and absolutely heartfelt! I’ll admit to getting a little choked up… congratulations, you two!   xo Laurie
